Paradise on Earth

Anthony-Postiglione-Jr

Anthony P Postiglione Jr says there is a reason they call the Seychelles “paradise on earth” and you will see as soon as you arrive.

Located off the east coast of Kenya, the Seychelles is made up of 115 coral and granite islands, most have protected areas of marine sanctuaries and UNESCO listed nature reserves and are home to endemic species like the giant Aldabra tortoises and the rare Coco de Mer palm.

The Seychelles’ outer islands are a chain of coral atolls, such as  Amirante and Alphonse, many of which are uninhabited.

In  colorful brochures and websites, excursion operators and neighborhood courses compete for the best, occasionally silly, flowery adjective to explain the splendor of the Seychelles. Of course, the archipelago has all of the conventional tropical island ingredients. From expansive palm-coated bays, hammocks swaying withinside the cool breeze, colorful cocktails drizzled over coconuts, beautiful sunsets and seamless catering  to maintain traffic entertained.
