Holiday in Emerald Isle

Anthony-P-Postiglione

Ireland occupies most of the island of Ireland off the coast of England and Wales.  Dublin, the capital city, is the birthplace of authors such as Oscar and Wilde, and the birthplace of Guinness and his beer. The 9th-century Book of Kells and other  manuscripts are on display at the Trinity College Library in Dublin. Known as the ‘Emerald Isle’ for its lush landscapes, the country is dotted with castles such as the medieval Caer Castle.

Anthony Postiglione declares that Ireland is famous for its stunning scenery, both on land and at sea. Ireland, often called the Emerald Isle, is home to vibrant cities tucked away by cozy bays and sheer cliffs. In Ireland, cozy pubs, a pint of Guinness and a shot of Irish whiskey go hand in hand with hearty Irish home cooking.
